Mathew Tierney

Executive summary

Matt is the Global Insurance Practice leader for Grant Thornton and resides in Philadelphia, PA. Matt also serves on the Global Business Consulting Leadership team for Grant Thornton International.

Over Matt’s career he has worked in the United States, London, Bermuda and Germany working with Global Financial Service organizations as well as Monetary Authorities. Matt helps design and oversee the firm’s largest insurance advisory projects globally, including in the US, Bermuda, and in Europe.

Throughout his career he has specialized in the Financial Services sector and has maintained a concentration in the P&C, Health and Life Insurance lines. Matt has served a select group of leading US and international insurers.

Matt brings a breadth of experience in Finance and Insurance Operations helping clients drive organizational redesign. He has in depth knowledge of both the functional and technical components related to business reengineering and change management.
